THIRD YEAR
3rd Year focuses on giving you a safe and healthy environment to use the leadership skills you received in 2nd Year so that you can continue to grow into the leader God has called you to become. The homework load is intentionally lighter to give you the opportunity to relationally invest in those you are leading and to fulfill the other requirements of your internship that you will be participating in.
Internships
BSSM 3rd year is a 9-month internship designed to give you hands-on experience in leadership and ministry, in addition to one-on-one mentoring with a staff pastor. Internships take place within the school environment and give students the ability to create a place for people to hear the voice of a loving God, find freedom, discover their giftings, and become a bold revivalist!
Each internship may vary slightly, but will give you the opportunity to facilitate small groups, learn how to sense what the Lord is doing corporately, practice brave and loving communication, champion others, and administratively serve the environment.
Mentorship
As part of the internship experience, you will get to meet one-on-one with a staff pastor several times throughout the school year. These meetings provide a coaching opportunity for you as you continue to step into your calling.
Missions & Travel
Each year, mission trips and ministry trips to area churches become a highlight of the school year. Students are invited to sign up for local ministry trips with our staff in addition to the required mission trips in the spring. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to sign up to help lead these trips.
Application Requirements
3rd Year applicants must have graduated from Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry’s 1st and 2nd Year programs.
