Second Year

Our second year program focuses on taking students deeper in leadership, preaching & public speaking, city engaement, scripture, their relationship with God, walking in the power of the Holy Spirit, worship and community.

Core Curriculum


Worship is an integral part of BSSM.  We take time to be in the presence of God and minister to His heart.  He is our first calling and our first love.  We take time every week to worship together as a community.


We believe that all scripture is an invitation to encounter God. Students will have daily bible reading assignments as well as work through a bible curriculum that covers:

  • Inductive bible study
  • Survey of the Bible
  • Core Values in Scripture & More

Core Trainings

BSSM Students will be trained and equipped in practical and spiritual foundations to prepare them for ministry. Trainings include:

  • Freedom & Deliverance Training
  • City Transformation 101
  • Leadership Training
  • Preaching

Advanced Trainings

Twice a year students will be able to pick an Advanced Training Course that will focus on a specific area of study.  These elective style courses run for 4 weeks and include First and Second year students.


Outreach at BSSM happens once a month during class time one Tuesday per month.  Throughout the month students will have areas of focus within outreach that will encourage them to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit everywhere that they go.

Missions & Travel

Once students have successfully completed our Ministry Team, Prophetic and Healing Trainings they will be released to travel.  Students will be able to sign up for local trips with our staff as well as mission focused trips in the spring.


Students will be asked to be a part of a servant oriented team twice a month throughout the school year.


Second year students have the opportunity to participate in year long tracks that focus on training and equipping students in a specific area of ministry.  Each track will have a unique book list, guest speakers and group projects.

Tracks include: Pastoral Ministry , Worship , and Marketplace
